Referral Pathways

There are several ways to access occupational therapy services. We work across a range of referral pathways and can help you understand which options may be available to you.

GP Referrals

You can be referred by your General Practitioner.

You may be eligible for Medicare-supported services.

👉 Speak to your GP about a Chronic Care Management Plan

This can provide access to a limited number of allied health sessions.

Specialist Referrals

We accept referrals from medical specialists including neurologists, rehabilitation physicians, and other treating specialists.

These referrals often support more complex or ongoing rehabilitation needs.

NDIS

We work with NDIS participants where appropriate.

We can provide:

  • Ongoing occupational therapy

  • Functional capacity assessments

  • Equipment and assistive technology recommendations

We also work with support coordinators to ensure services align with participant goals and plans.

Insurer Pathways

We support clients funded through:

  • NIISQ

  • WorkCover

  • Other insurers

We understand the requirements of these systems and provide services and reporting that align with funding expectations.

Private Clients

You can access our services privately without a referral.

This can be helpful if you are:

  • Early in your recovery

  • Waiting for funding approval

  • Looking for flexibility in your care
