Why Choose Us?

Specialist, personalised, and grounded in real experience

Many of our clients come to us after feeling stuck, unheard, or unsure what to do next. We help bridge that gap.

Specialist expertise

We focus on neurological rehabilitation and upper limb therapy, supporting conditions from brain and spinal cord injury to FND and complex trauma.

A whole-person approach

Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all. We look beyond symptoms to understand what’s getting in the way of progress — including fatigue, pain, cognitive challenges, and emotional impact.

Advocacy and system navigation

We help you navigate NDIS, NIISQ, equipment prescription, and the reporting needed to unlock ongoing support.

Experience you can trust

Our care is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience. We understand how complex this journey can be.

Our Approach

Recovery isn’t linear, and it’s not just physical.

We help by:

  • Understanding your symptoms and how they affect daily life

  • Retraining movement and functional skills

  • Managing fatigue and energy

  • Supporting gradual re-engagement in meaningful activities

  • Adapting environments and routines

  • Building sustainable pathways forward

How it works

Simple, structured, and personalised

  1. Referral received (self, family, or practitioner)

  2. Initial consultation to understand your goals

  3. A personalised plan integrating physical, cognitive, and emotional support

  4. Ongoing therapy that adapts as you progress

Our Story

Built from lived experience

Our story is one shaped by lived experience.

In April 2023, our CEO’s husband Mark sustained a cervical spinal cord injury. His life changed in an instant.

Like many families, we found the system difficult to navigate at the time we needed it most.

One 3 Care was created to bridge that gap - helping people access occupational therapy that truly understands neurological recovery.

“Renee was wonderful to work with post brain + spine surgery. When you’re used to appointments where you’ve only got minutes to speak to a professional about their specific area, it’s a breath of fresh air to have an extended session to talk about the whole picture. Her empathy and reassurance have helped my recovery immensely.”

— Kaitlyn, Brisbane
