Our story is one carved from lived experience.
Our CEO’s husband, Mark Ferguson is the inspiration behind
establishing One 3 Care.
In April 2023, Mark and his family were enjoying a day trip to the beach on the Gold Coast. His life would change in an instant when one angry wave would leave him a cervical Spinal Cord Injury. Mark became an incomplete tetraplegic.
After navigating his own rehabilitation journey since 2023, Mark advocated to establish One 3 Care so that people with neurological conditions can access the right help from Occupational Therapists who truly understand their condition.
Our Story
“Renee was wonderful to work with post brain + spine surgery. When you’re used to appointments where you’ve only got minutes to speak to a professional about their specific area, it’s a breath of fresh air to have an extended session to talk about the whole picture. Her empathy and reassurance have helped my recovery immensely.”
— Kaitlyn, BrisbaneWe’re committed to ongoing professional development and bring the latest neuroscience, rehabilitation techniques, and trauma recovery principles into every session.
We also understand the systems you navigate from NDIS advocacy and FCA reports to assistive technology requests and we can guide you through them with clarity and confidence.
